Late last week, Sacred Heart (CT) High School senior guard Raheem Solomon signed a National Letter of Intent with Niagara University. Solomon had a storied four year high school career, even while overcoming a major knee injury in his junior year. St. Andrew's School has produced their latest division I big man as post-graduate Nevin Zink committed to USC Upstate on Sunday according to Saints' head coach Michael Hart. Zink is a Connecticut native who previously attended 22-Feet Academy in South Carolina before coming to Rhode Island for his post-graduate season. The second week of the NCAA recruiting period resumed on Friday night and continued through the day on Sunday.
