Timberlake is a Tiger
One of the best available prospects in New England came off the board Friday night when Towson scored a commitment from Kimball Union Academy post-graduate Nick Timberlake.
Timberlake confirmed the news from his twitter account.

Timberlake, who graduated from Braintree High School a year ago and starred with Metro Boston over the summer, was one of the biggest stock-risers in New England this winter. He went for 30+ points with regularity this season for KUA and led the team back to the NEPSAC Class AA tournament while simultaneously adding notable muscle mass to his frame.
A truly versatile player on the perimeter, Timberlake is capable of playing multiple positions. With a now physically strong frame, he's still a very good athlete, solid ball-handler, and excellent passer. He has an ability to rise and fire over contesting defenders in the mid-range area and has also developed into a more consistent three-point shooter.
"This young man is just starting to rise," said Metro Boston director Mo Vasquez. "I can't wait to see him competing at the next level with his energy, competitiveness, passion, and, above all, drive. Towson hit the lottery. He's a great young man on and off the court."
Timberlake joins Woodstock Academy guard Jakigh Dottin to become the second local product to commit to the Tigers in the class of 2018.
