Taunton HS and Basketball Club Rhode Island guard Trent Santos announced his commitment earlier this month to Assumption, a Division II school in Massachusetts.  Santos had an impressive career at Taunton, averaging 26.4 points per game while leading his team to a 17-3 record this past year. New Hampton School and The House We Built guard/forward Jabari Nurse announced his commitment this week to Pace, a Division II school in New York. Nurse came to New Hampton this year following a standout career at Lexington Christian Academy. He was named a 2020 All-NEPSAC Class C selection. Waters came over to the NEPSAC for a post-grad year at Vermont Academy after having a productive career at Good Counsel of the highly competitive Washington Catholic Athletic Conference. New Hampton School and Expressions Elite guard Kyle Hicks announced his commitment over the weekend to Tarleton State. They are a D1 school in Texas that competes in the Western Athletic Conference. Hicks came to New Hampton in 2019 after attending the Fessenden School for his freshman year. At Fessenden, he was a captain and led them to an undefeated season while being the top scorer.
