New England Live Period #2 Recap

The second live period wrapped up yesterday and several New England programs had successful weekends.

Middlesex Magic has transitioned nicely to the Under Armour Association. Their 16s and 17s both went undefeated to take home the Under Armour Spring Championship.

Over in South Carolina at the Adidas 3SSB event, Mass Rivals showed why they are one of the true contenders. They went 4-0 including winning at the buzzer on Saturday night against perennial grassroots power Compton Magic.

Both Expressions Elite 16s and 17s had impressive showings at the Nike EYBL event in Indianapolis. Their 17s went 3-1 to get to 6-2 overall and currently are in third place in Division D. Expressions' 16s finished the weekend 3-1 as well while winning their pool.

On the independent scene, New England Storm went 4-1 in one of the main brackets of the Hoop Group Pitt Jam Fest. They beat multiple Hoop Group Showcase League teams on their run to the final four.

Several 17u teams won at least three games in the Zero Gravity Atlantic City event. These included Mass Elite, Rise Above Basketball, New Haven Heat, Prodigy Basketball-Black, and ASA Select-Black among others.
