Nick Barnes, Darrow School – Barnes is a local Central Mass product that can lead the offense and make things happen at the point. He’s got some quickness and a crafty handle that allows him to get paint touches in bunches, while scoring it when needed. In looking for a point guard, you want a guy who can keep things organized, play hard, and run the offense… Barnes is that guy.
RaJhon Jones, Moses Brown – Jones brings size to the guard spot and uses it to his advantage on both sides of the ball. He gets physical as a slasher, finishing through traffic, and looks up the floor to move the ball ahead to teammates in transition. Gum Malek, Guilford HS – Malek plays with a high motor and shows some twitch off the dribble to create space to get his shots off. He’s quick, keeps the ball on a string, and runs the offense with control to fling passes in tight spots or take it himself to the paint. Defensively, he’s pesky and gets into opposing ballhandlers while moving around with quick feet.
Miguel Chaparro, Amistad HS – Chaparro is an under-the-radar guard that can make a big impact as a downhill threat. He attacks the basket where he can get to the rim or make reads on the fly and kick the ball out to his shooters. He's able to knock down shots when given space to get them off.

College programs looking for a guy who can come in and compete on the defensive end as a specialist, he's a good name to reach out to.
Jakob Reyes, New York Military Academy – The Rhode Island native uses his ability to change speed to break down defenders off the dribble. He often looks to get to step-back jumpers, but is also a formidable threat to knock down shots off the catch. Can create offense for himself and keep things moving as a distributor.

He thrives as an off-ball scorer, cutting to the basket and finishing through contact in the paint. He’s strong and physical at 6'5" with plenty of muscle to him, making his presence felt on the boards as well. Does a lot of the dirty work and can be an enforcer on the floor.
Efrain Brown Jr., Platt HS – Brown has shown the ability to score it at multiple levels over the past few years that we've gotten to evaluate his game. He is capable of knocking down shots off the bounce and getting into the paint when slashing to the basket. He competes defensively and crashes the glass for rebounds.
Naiem Gill, Platt HS – Gill is a big guard who lets the game come to him, limiting mistakes and waiting to see what the defense offers him before getting into his shots. He can use his speed to get to the basket or step into threes when defenders sag off. He's got good size to be a competent lead guard, but can be a good secondary playmaker and off-the-catch shooter as a shooting guard.
John Whitaker, IMG Academy – Whitaker was a focal point to his IMG showcase squad last week playing with high energy and bringing a physical presence to the backcourt. He made a number of jumpers showing off his shooting ability, while using his strength and mobility to provide some tough on-ball defense.
