Frosh/Soph Elite 75 Upstate Debut!
For the first time, the Frosh/Soph Elite 75 is coming to Upstate New York.
On Saturday, October 10th, New England Recruiting Report will bring its long-running Elite 75 platform to SUNY Cortland, providing an early exposure opportunity for rising freshmen and sophomores from across the Upstate New York basketball landscape.
One of the biggest goals of the event is simple: bring the region together.
From Albany to Syracuse, Rochester to Buffalo, and everywhere in between, Upstate New York has consistently produced talented players who have gone on to compete at every level of college basketball and beyond. NERR has had the opportunity to evaluate and cover many of those players over the years, and now we want to create a setting where the next generation can compete together under one roof.
The Frosh/Soph Elite 75 is specifically designed for players at the beginning of their high school careers. Rather than waiting until the recruiting process is already underway, the event gives rising freshmen and sophomores an opportunity to establish themselves early, compete against other top prospects in their age group, and begin building a recruiting profile that can follow them throughout their high school careers.
At the showcase, players will compete through instructed drills and showcase games while being evaluated by the NERR staff. Our team will provide live coverage throughout the event before following up with written evaluations, social media coverage, and additional content highlighting prospects who distinguish themselves.
Registered players will also be added to the NERR prospect database, creating a profile that can be accessed by college coaches as they begin tracking future recruiting classes.
For nearly 20 years, the Frosh/Soph Elite 75 has helped introduce future college players at the beginning of their high school careers. As NERR continues to expand its footprint beyond New England, our goal is to bring that same platform to new regions and uncover the next wave of prospects.
