2026 NE Frosh/Soph Three Weeks Away!

We’re officially just three weeks away from the start of the New England Frosh/Soph Elite 75 series, as we prepare to get our first extended look at many of the top young prospects from across our region.

Year after year, the Frosh/Soph Elite 75 has served as one of the first major stages for underclassmen to put their names on the map. Before many players have established reputations at the varsity level, this event allows us to see a large group of freshmen and sophomores compete against one another in the same setting and get an early look at who to track as time passes. That has always been what makes this event so valuable.

At this point in their high school careers, there are players everyone already knows about, others who are just beginning to emerge, and plenty more who may be flying completely under the radar. Bringing them together allows our staff to identify prospects early, track their development, and introduce new names to our audience throughout the fall.

This year’s series will once again take place across two locations in Connecticut and Massachusetts, giving players from throughout the region an opportunity to compete against some of the best in their respective classes.

The evaluation doesn’t end when the final game is played, either. Following the completion of both events, our staff will go back through everything we saw before naming the Frosh/Soph Elite 75, recognizing the 75 best players we evaluated across the Connecticut and Massachusetts stops, and generating player profiles, and writing scouting evaluations on those who caught our eye.

For some, it will be another opportunity to build on an already growing reputation. For others, it could be the first time their name reaches a much larger audience.

That’s part of what the Frosh/Soph Elite 75 has always been about: finding the next wave before everyone knows who they are.
