Rivers Forward Makes Decision

Rivers School senior forward Matt Prokop is heading to Assumption College next year after accepting a spot on the roster as a preferred walk-on, according to Rivers head coach Andrew Mirken. The Middlesex Magic AAU program recently announced a pair of commitments from their 2014 class.   Liam Bruno, a six-foot-three swingman from Newton North High School (MA), has committed to Wheaton College while Brookline big man Obi Obiora has committed to WPI.  Both were named Bay State Conference All-Stars by the Boston Globe this season. Watertown (MA) High School guard Cesar Fulcar has been admitted, and subsequently committed to, Wentworth Institute of Technology. Fulcar averaged over 12 points per game, playing a huge role in his team's deep run to the Division 3 State Semi-Finals held at the TD Garden.
