Some Unsigned NHIAA Seniors To Watch This Winter
New Hampshire continues to produce tons of high-IQ, tough prospects that go under the radar. As the NHIAA season is in swing, these unsigned seniors have put themselves in positions where college coaches should be watching. Each has a unique skillset and the potential to impact winning at the collegiate level.
Connor McGowan, Bishop Guertin: McGowan is an impact player for a Bishop Guertin who consistently plays a competitive schedule. The senior guard currently leads NHIAA Division I in scoring at 27 PPG, while also contributing in other columns on the scoresheet, showcasing his all-around production. He scores at multiple levels, creates for his teammates, and competes on both ends of the floor with quick hands and confidence.
Nathan Johnson, Merrimack: Standing 6’1 with a physical frame, Johnson earned preseason NHIAA Division I All-State Honorable Mention recognition. After averaging 13 PPG as a junior, he has taken quite the leap in his senior season, currently posting 23 PPG. He uses his frame to score efficiently at all 3 levels and rebounds well for his size and position, while bringing constant toughness and energy on the defensive end.
Tyler Jordan, Windham: A skilled 6'3 combo guard, Jordan stretches defenses with his shooting ability and plays at a strong pace. Averaging 18.0 PPG this season, he recently exploded for 29 points against Manchester Central, demonstrating his scoring capability. Whether creating on or off the ball, Jordan makes quick, confident decisions that consistently lead to effective offense.
Isaiah Reis, Portsmouth: Dynamic and aggressive, Reis is a 6'0 guard who constantly applies pressure on opposing defenses. Recognized as one of the top three-point shooters in the state, he scores efficiently running off screens, in catch-and-shoot situations, or creating with the ball in his hands. Landon Ellsmore, Bedford: Bringing physicality, size, and a relentless motor to the backcourt, Ellsmore is a 6'3 guard who impacts winning. Currently averaging 17 PPG, he attacks the rim aggressively while competing hard on the glass. The combination of his scoring ability and effort level makes him a dependable option who contributes to winning basketball.
Alton Williams, Hollis-Brookline: At 6'6, Williams is a versatile forward who impacts both ends of the floor.
