AIC Adds Ikpah Late

Sesoo Ikpah, originally from New Jersey, completed his post-graduate year at Lee Academy in Maine this year.  Ikpah had a strong season, especially on the defensive end of the floor, where he established himself as one of the premier perimeter defenders in all of New England.  Offensively he is also extremely effective as he has the versatility to play several positions.  His ball skills and basketball I.Q. are sound enough to handle the point guard duties while his size (6’3”)… READ MORE >

Plans have changed for Jimmy Gunville!  After having originally committing to attend the Tilton School as a post-graduate the sharp-shooting guard has instead decided to accept a scholarship offer from Mercy College and their first year head coach Tony Staffiere.  Gunville is best known for his shooting prowess from behind the three-point stripe.  During the fall AAU season he had back to back games with 10 or more three-pointers.   He also knocked down 12 three-pointers during one game this season… READ MORE >

Hinkle Earns Scholarship from Vanderbilt

Posted Friday, July 27th, 2007

We’ve been saying it all year long.  Charles Hinkle is very good.  Apparently Vanderbilt Head Coach Kevin Stallings agreed with us.  “It’s very rare to get a player the caliber of Charles at this time of year,” Stallings said according to VU’s media relations department.  “He’s a good wing prospect, a good shooter with a strong feel for the game. We’re excited to add him to the roster.  Hopefully, he has a chance to be a good player.”  We first… READ MORE >

Kinard Dozier Having Strong Summer

Posted Thursday, July 26th, 2007

Kinard Dozier’s story has been well documented.  He is a young man with a goal.  That goal is to be a division I basketball player and he is determined to achieve it.  It was that goal that brought him to Winchendon where he recently completed a post-graduate year.  It was that goal that led him to turn down a handful of division II offers earlier in the season.  And it is that goal that has brought him back to the… READ MORE >
