All Mike Shelton has ever done in the prep ranks is win. He spent two years as the head coach at Williston Northampton School…and won a NEPSAC Class A championship in both years. Then he went to Indiana to take over a storied program at Park Tudor High School in Indianapolis. Two years ago, he returned to New England to take on another rebuilding project in Governors Academy, a program that needed to be built from the ground up in…

Do you know the name Rachel Baker? Probably not. Most college basketball fans don't. But she is one of the most influential people in the world of grassroots basketball and a pioneer for women in that space. She grew up as a coach's daughter and joined Nike on a full-time basis when she was just 22 years old. Since then she's quickly evolved into a person who, may not have a public profile, but is as respected, capable, and multi-dimensional…

They’ll add four more next year with Adrian Griffin moving on to Duke and Malcolm Chimezie already signed with Boston University. …

It is never easy being the coach's son, but the two best ways to ensure you pave your own path are to let your talent do the talking for you and to play the game unselfishly. Dion Byrd Jr. does both of those things while playing for his father at Baystate Academy. Byrd put up 14 points, 5 assists, and 5 rebounds per game last year as a junior, stuffing all columns of the stat sheet, while also establishing a…

It is a team that likely would have been one of the program’s most recruited groups in recent years, had this been a normal season in normal times. Of course, both this season and this year have been anything but normal, and so now Bridgton Academy serves as a destination…
