Byrd is a prototypical coach's son who is skilled, knows how to play, and shoots the ball well from the outside. He has very soft natural shooting touch and beautiful mechanics with a smooth release. He's also a heady passer and willing ball-mover. Physically, he already has good positional size and is still filling out and coming into his own.
