2027 Maine Ranking Debut
The state of Maine has produced some impressive college prospects in recent years with guys like Cooper Flagg, Dom Campbell, and JP Estrella as a few noteworthy ones.
To kick off the rankings of the state’s sophomore class, we highlighted five guys we have gotten good viewings of over the past year.
Isaiah Bean-Brittian kicks off the list as the 6’5 wing has shown impressive feel and playmaking at his stature thus far. He enters Kent’s Hill as a 2027 from Whitman-Hanson Regional this season with tons of potential to monitor.
Jack Gedroge joins Kent’s Hill this season with experience playing at a high level overseas in England. The big forward’s blend of size and shooting truly stands out, and as he adds more to his game will be worth watching.
Nicola Plalum played a big role for his Cheverus High School squad last season as a freshman and enters his sophomore year with some buzz. He’s a 6’4” wing with some handling ability and great defensive skill to guard multiple positions.
Jahleel Joseph is a name to know out of the northern part of the state, and showed out in front of us this fall. He’s got some strong scoring ability as a 6’2” guard and will play a big role for his Central Aroostook team.
Sawyer Pow rounds out the ranking at the five spot as another guard worth keeping tabs on as time progresses. He’s got good pace as a guard with an outside stroke and passing vision.
More names will definitely be added to the ranking as we continue to get eyes on the sophomores in Maine, but here are some names to know at the moment.
Stay tuned as we continue to go through our state by state 2027 rankings.
