Summer Recap - ASA Hoops

A Step Ahead (ASA) Basketball was established and founded by Brendan Smith in 1997 as summer camp for the City of Newton (MA).  The camps have grown throughout the years as they have partnered with the likes of US Sports Camps (a Nike sponsored affiliate), former Celtic Walter McCarty, and its most recent collaboration with Phenom America. BC Lands Langford

Brewster Academy and Mass Rivals guard DeMarr Langford announced his verbal commitment to Boston College on Saturday. He announced his decision via his twitter account surrounded by his family which seemed appropriate given the context of the decision. Langford’s older brother, Makai Ashton-Langford, is currently sitting out at BC and will have two seasons of eligibility remaining beginning next year following his transfer from Providence. Hotchkiss’ Brewster BU Bound

Hotchkiss School and Riverside Hawks guard Miles Brewster announced his verbal commitment to Boston University on Thursday.  Brewster is beginning his second season at the prestigious prep school in Connecticut.
