Columbia landed a verbal commitment from Cameron Shockley-Okeke on Monday night following his official visit to their New York City campus over the weekend. Shockley-Okeke is a Connecticut native who graduated from Milton Academy last year and is currently in his post-graduate season at Phillips Exeter Academy. Hundreds of teams populated eastern Massachusetts this weekend for the annual Zero Gravity Battle for the Belt, the culmination of the fall season. The varsity American division belt went to the Boston Bobcats who impressed the entire weekend with their high-powered offense. Babson College will once again be the site of the Scholar Roundball Classic, which is set to return from December 7th - 9th. The event annually attracts some of the top academic programs in the northeast and is a destination event for top academic colleges and universities from throughout the United States.
