Beckett Calls it for Vermont

Tilton senior Eric Beckett is under-recruited no more. 

The Canadian native, who is now in his third year at the Tilton School, announced his commitment to Vermont late Friday evening. 

Beckett was a major contributor on a Rams' team that won their latest NEPSAC title last year and advanced to the final four of the National Prep Championship. This year he takes over as the undisputed leader and go-to player for the Rams as they look to defend their championship. 

Vermont initially offered Beckett last spring, as a member of the class of 2018, and continued to pursue him this fall for their current 2019 class. 

Beckett gives the Catamounts a productive two-way player with an efficient floor game. He can score the ball at all three levels, is a tough half-court defender, and consistently productive each time he takes the floor.
