Incoming Brewster Academy big man Jarred Reuter was the only underclassmen chosen for a “Team USA Select” squad that is traveling to Treviso, Italy for a series of exhibition games this weekend. St. Andrew’s rising senior forward Bonzie Colson took unofficial visits to Rhode Island and Connecticut earlier this week Colson, a six-foot-five forward, has seen his recruitment take off this spring after a tremendous regular season on the EYBL circuit. Boston University landed their latest huge commitment on Wednesday, receiving a verbal pledge from six-foot-eleven SMU transfer Blaise Mbargorba. New Hampton School forward Mike Auger landed a scholarship offer from Quinnipiac University head coach Tom Moore on Wednesday night. The New England basketball community is mourning the sudden an unexpected loss of Bentley freshman and former Cardinal Spellman High School and Middlesex Magic star, Joey Glynn. Glynn was playing with a Middlesex Magic team last night at a men’s league game at Saltonstall Park in Watertown, when he collapsed on the court.
