Western New England University was the site of NEPSAC finals on Sunday in classes AAA, AA, and A. All three were high level games that went all the way down the wire as New Hampton School, Wilbraham and Monson Academy, and Loomis Chaffee School captured championships. On Friday, the bracket for the 2020 National Prep Championship was announced.  The announcement came less than 72 hours after the 14-team field was announced Sunday.  Brewster Academy, IMG Academy, Hargrave Military Academy, and Putnam Science Academy will receive first-round byes and debut during Wednesday's quarterfinals.  Cushing Academy, Woodstock Academy, DME Academy, and Mt. The first state champions in New England were crowned over the weekend in Maine as Hampden Academy, Caribou, Winthrop, and Forest Hills captured gold balls. Hampden overcame a double-figure deficit late in the third quarter before responding with a decisive 23-1 run that would secure them the state championship and ruin York’s bid for an undefeated season.
