Two days after meeting face to face with Arizona Head Coach Lute Olson, Emmanuel Negedu officially received a release from the National Letter of Intent that he signed in November. According to reports, Negedu has a short list of four schools that he is willing to consider: Indiana, Tennessee, Memphis, and Georgia Tech. In a mild upset the Burlington Hawks defeated Lone Wolf Athletics 64-54 on Sunday to win the Vermont AAU state championship. The Hawks are a team made up of next year’s returning varsity players from Burlington High school, while Lone Wolf consists of some of Vermont’s best players from around the state. Last Thursday night, Emmanuel Negedu placed a phone call to Arizona Head Coach Lute Olson and asked for a release from his NLI.
