State Finals Set in Connecticut

Hillhouse and Fairfield Prep will write the fourth chapter of their incredible rivalry in the CIAC Class LL championship game this weekend at Mohegan Sun Arena. “Fitzy All Star Games” on Sunday

Hoop Mountain, Inc. in conjunction with the Boston Amateur Basketball Club (BABC) will be hosting the 11th annual “Fitzy All Star Games” on Sunday March 17, 2013 at Mount Ida College in Newton, Massachusetts in what is sure a can't miss event featuring many of the Boston area’s top players. Freshman of the Year!

  The 2012-2013 prep school season may have officially come to an end last week, but Tuesday was still a tremendous day for NEPSAC basketball.  Tuesday was the day in which regular season award winners were named the east coast’s top four college basketball conferences – the Big East, ACC, SEC, and Atlantic 10.  Incredibly, all four leagues awarded their Rookie of the Year to a product of the NEPSAC.  Brewster Academy graduate Jakarr Sampson took those honors in the… READ MORE >

Last Week in Video

Maine Native Earns First D1 Offer

Only days after leading Penquis Valley to a Maine state championship, junior forward Isaiah Bess landed his first division I scholarship offer from the University of New Hampshire.  Bess took to his twitter account to announce the news:"Just got off the phone with the UNH coach.. Classical Wins Rhode Island State Title

The RIIL is the only state association in New England, and only one of two in the entire country (along with Kentucky), to crown one undisputed state champion.  On Sunday night, Classical High School became that champion, defeating North Kingston in the finals of the Open State Tournament.  Classical, who earned the top seed coming into the tournament, scored a narrow 50-47 win over West Warwick in the Round of 16.  They followed that up with a huge 81-32 pounding… READ MORE >

Rice Takes Vermont State Title

Rice Memorial High School takes their fourth state championship in the last seven years by beating previously undefeated St. Johnsbury Academy 48-40 in overtime on Thursday night.  St. Johnsbury had scored two wins over Rice earlier this season, and seemed well on their way to a third when they opened the game on a 10-3 run, but the champions responded with a big second quarter before the game went back and forth for virtually all of the second half.  Rice… READ MORE >

Look Back on Maine State Championships

NMH Wins National Prep Championship
