Hillhouse and Fairfield Prep will write the fourth chapter of their incredible rivalry in the CIAC Class LL championship game this weekend at Mohegan Sun Arena. Only days after leading Penquis Valley to a Maine state championship, junior forward Isaiah Bess landed his first division I scholarship offer from the University of New Hampshire.  Bess took to his twitter account to announce the news:"Just got off the phone with the UNH coach.. Rice Memorial High School takes their fourth state championship in the last seven years by beating previously undefeated St. Johnsbury Academy 48-40 in overtime on Thursday night.  St. Johnsbury had scored two wins over Rice earlier this season, and seemed well on their way to a third when they opened the game on a 10-3 run, but the champions responded with a big second quarter before the game went back and forth for virtually all of the second half.  Rice… READ MORE >
