Maine Native Earns First D1 Offer
Only days after leading Penquis Valley to a Maine state championship, junior forward Isaiah Bess landed his first division I scholarship offer from the University of New Hampshire.
Bess took to his twitter account to announce the news:
"Just got off the phone with the UNH coach.. I just got my first official D-1 scholarship offer tonight! #sohappy" he tweeted.
Bess initially landed on the recruiting radar last spring when he debuted with his MB Nation club. Since that time, he's gone on to put up huge numbers during his junior season in Maine and pick up increased interest on the recruiting front as a result.
