The first ever Memorial Day Invitational is on tap for this weekend at Connecticut College and boasts a roster of some of the northeast’s premier grassroots programs. Williams Heading to America East Fresh of his post-graduate season at the South Kent School, Jabrille Williams is heading to Binghamton University where he will play his division I basketball in the America East Conference. American International College has received three signed National Letters of Intent for their 2011 recruiting class. Head coach Art Luptowski will welcome Spencer Braithwaite, Anthony Elechi, and Al-Shabazz Jabatah. Earlier this week Southern New Hampshire scored a huge commitment from Manchester Memorial's David Madol. His pledge completed a class that features five incoming products including B.J. Cardarelli and two other New England products. Also headed to SNHU is Cardarelli's St. Thomas More teammate Elijah Bonsignore who recently decommitted from West Chester. Michael Varrichione, a six-foot-six center from Xaverian Brothers High School and native of Medway, Massachusetts will head south to play his college ball, committing to North Georgia State to play for head coach Chris Faulkner.
