2026 #E75 College Showcase Central - Frontcourt Recap pt. 1

Last night, we took over Worcester Academy for the annual rising senior and postgrad Elite 75 College Showcase. This year's event was for the class of 2027, and ultimately may be up there for the overall talent level we've seen in the event, as well as depth across the floor. Prospects traveled in from Upstate New York, New Jersey, and each state in New England for a night of real exposure to college coaches.

To begin with our recap on the talented group we had in the building, we will start with the frontcourt, which will be broken into two halves. Here's part one.

Spencer Booth
Milton Academy, 6'10", 2027

Booth's physicality and size create matchup problems inside. He did a good job last night exposing mismatches around the basket, finishing through contact, and getting above the rim when opportunities presented. Defensively, he altered many shots and made things difficult in the paint. Continues to be on the radar of Ivy/Patriot schools and among the top of the New England 2027 class at the center position.

Luca Palermo
St. Mark's, 6'7", 2027

Fresh off a NEPSAC Class B Large Championship and Player of the Year campaign, Palermo continued to show why he's one of the more productive frontcourt players in New England. He dominated the paint, rebounded the ball in bunches, and consistently established position inside. His footwork and post moves allowed him to score in a variety of ways around the basket. Very good name in the 2027 frontcourt.

Soren Lolonga
Mount Saint Charles, 6'5", 2027

Lolonga is a big wing with athleticism. He finished above the rim with authority for a dunk, attacked the glass aggressively, and played with a good motor when he was on the court. Offensively, he has a pretty smooth handle and the ability to rise into shots off the bounce at multiple levels. Great physical tools and continues to put it all together.

Omari Scott
Darrow School, 6'6", 2027

The Worcester native brings a physically imposing frame to the forward spot and knows how to use it. Scott's athleticism immediately stands out, especially with how easily he gets off the ground to finish above the rim. He threw down dunks with force throughout the night and showed some smooth touch finishing around the basket as well. Has a great combination of strength and explosiveness.

Larry Brown
MacDuffie School, 6'7", 2027

The Coatesville Pennsylvania native brings plenty of athleticism to the forward spot. Brown rebounds well, alters shots defensively, and has the ability to put the ball on the floor and attack from the perimeter. His defensive versatility stands out as he can cover ground and match up against multiple positions.

Jake Teclaw
Granby Memorial, 6'8", 2027

Teclaw's shooting ability immediately stands out given his size. The 6'8" forward consistently spaced the floor in his outing and knocked down shots from the perimeter. He also rebounded well and ran the floor hard to create opportunities in transition. Sleeper big in the Connecticut State Association.

Connor Noel
Milton Academy, 6'7", 2027

Noel continues to develop and make strides as an athlete on the wing. The Milton Academy product scores the ball at all three levels, as he can knock down shots from deep, attack gaps in the defense, and make plays in the mid-range. He has good touch on his jumper and consistently made the right reads last night surrounded by his Milton teammates.

Joey Whiting
Bethlehem Central HS, 6'8", 2027

Whiting brings impressive length and toughness to the floor at 6'8". He was able to get going off the bounce, attacking defenders and finishing effectively around the basket. Defensively, he used his size to crowd driving lanes and make things difficult for opponents.

Dylan Raffle
Milton HS, 6'5", 2027

Raffle's skill level stands out for a player of his size. He has crafty touch around the basket, handles the ball comfortably off the bounce, and makes plays attacking the defense. At 6'5", he's very mobile and plays hard defensively as he can switch around and makes smart gambles to jump the ball. Another high-academic name out of the MIAA to get eyes on.

Zohar Dhaliwal
Taft School, 6'6", 2027

Dhaliwal's athleticism showed up throughout the day, particularly with how well he got off the floor. He met shots in the air for blocks, rebounded aggressively, and was able to play above the rim. Offensively, he has different ways to score off the catch and capitalize on opportunities around the basket.

Wyatt Klein
Winchendon School, 6'6", 2027

The postgrad from Bishop Ireton brings a well-rounded and battle-tested game to the floor. Klein competes defensively, moves well in transition, and consistently battles on the glass. He also has the ability to space the floor and make shots from the perimeter.
