BST Basketball invited the top high school basketball players in NH to Southern New Hampshire University on Monday night to showcase their skills. There were 30 players in the gym, from the classes of 2012, 2013 and 2014. They were ran through positional drills, agility testing and full court games. The 39th annual Boston Shootout also included the second annual Mike Crotty Sr. Memorial Game, as the Shootout honored Coach Crotty’s legacy with a special ceremony and subsequent game between the Albany City Rocks and Middlesex Magic. On Saturday, June 4th, over 60 prospects gathered at the Salvation Army Ray and Joan Kroc Corps Community Center in Boston to participate in the 2011 Reebok Headliner Try-Out. Cushing Academy point guard Kyle Callanan finally put an end ot his recruitment on Wednesday when he made a verbal commitment to Southern Connecticut. Games of the Day HS Championship – Bristol Ballers vs Bishop Elite The last game of the day turned out to be the most exciting. The High School division championship game was an offensive shootout. Each team relied heavily on their star players; Elite’s Devin Gilligan and Bristol’s Dominique Elliott. Gilligan created numerous plays off the dribble and was very strong finishing inside at will. The Boston Warriors AAU program held their annual college showcase night on Tuesday, inviting players from their own program as well as a select group of others to compete in the night’s activities.
