Live Period Resumes
The second half of the July live period is set to tip-off on Friday.
The second and final lap of the summer evaluation period begins today with the eyes of the grassroots world focused primarily on either Orlando or Las Vegas.
The New England Recruiting Report will be traveling west for the first few days of the period where the Adidas Super 64 will include the New England Playaz, Connecticut Basketball Club, Rivals Basketball Club, and Aim High.
CBC and the Playaz headline perhaps the most anticipated match-up in all of Sin City on Friday as they are set to meet in primetime, with a 6:20p.m. tip scheduled for center court.
The Adidas Super 64 isn’t the only prestigious event taking place in Las Vegas this week as the Fab 48 welcomes top teams from around the country with Connecticut Select representing New England in the platinum bracket.
While the New England Recruiting Report will be bringing you live coverage from Las Vegas, we also plan to keep close tabs on all the action in Orlando over the course of the next ten days with Super Showcases set to take place in the freshmen, sophomore, and junior divisions followed by national championships in the sophomore and junior divisions.
Of course the major story line for New England fans will be whether or not BABC can defend their national championship from a summer ago and follow up what has already been an incredibly successful month of July.
Numerous other New England programs are also heading south with Metro Boston, Rhode Island Hawks, Middlesex Magic, The Nation, Maine Mac, Boston Warriors, East Coast Elite and numerous others looking to make a splash.
