BABC Advances to National Championship
The BABC sophomores have a chance to repeat what they did exactly one year ago tomorrow when they meet Team Takeover in the finals of the AAU 10th grade National Championship.
BABC scored two easy wins on Friday to advance to the finals, beginning with a 74-59 cruising over Gardner Road in the quarterfinal and then followed by a 51-29 lashing over Ohio Varsity White in the customary defense-first style.
Team Takeover had a much more difficult day as they beat Ohio Hoopsters 58-49 and then snuck by the New York Gauchos in the semifinals 65-64.
Tomorrow's final is currently scheduled for a 3:30p.m. tip-off.
