Diallo with USA Basketball’s u18 Team

Putnam Science Academy guard Hamidou Diallo is one of twelve players currently with USA Basketball's 18-and-under team in Chile competing in the FIBA America's Championship. The trials began in June at the Olympic Training Center in Colorado Springs where an initial group of 26 players was cut to 18. BABC Wins AAU U19 Crown

The BABC juniors won the gold medal at the AAU Boys u19 nationals earlier this week, defeating RAP Stars from Upstate New York 67-50 in the final to win the program's 19th national championship. The team went 7-0 on the week with Terrell Brown, Marcus Santos Silva and Corey Romich leading the way. The New England Playaz were the big champions at the Big Apple Summer Showcase, taking the platinum championship with a win over another top Adidas Gauntlet program - K-Low Elite from Philadelphia.
