Putnam Science Academy guard Hamidou Diallo is one of twelve players currently with USA Basketball's 18-and-under team in Chile competing in the FIBA America's Championship. The trials began in June at the Olympic Training Center in Colorado Springs where an initial group of 26 players was cut to 18. The BABC juniors won the gold medal at the AAU Boys u19 nationals earlier this week, defeating RAP Stars from Upstate New York 67-50 in the final to win the program's 19th national championship.
