Maine Keeping Lee Academy’s Antoms in State

Lee Academy big man Miks Antoms committed to the University of Maine on Wednesday.

The 6-foot-8 big man came to the United States from Latvia, playing one season at Archbishop Carroll High School in Pennsylvania, before arriving at Lee Academy the fall.

He announced his decision via his twitter account.

Antoms started at the center spot for Lee all season long and brings a strong body, rugged mentality, and solid low-post scorer and passer to Maine next season.

He joins Shaq Walters to become the second member of Lee's 2017 class to accept a full athletic scholarship from a Division I school.

Below are some of his highlights from the recent season.
