Putnam Science Academy claimed the 2022 National Prep Championship on Friday by defeating Northfield Mount Hermon School in the finals at the University of Saint Joseph in West Hartford, Connecticut. The National Prep Championship is winding down and on Friday the 2022 national champions will be crowned. Semi-finals will be played at 11:00am with Putnam Science Academy meeting Scotland Campus and Northfield Mount Hermon facing Massanutten Military Academy. The NEPSAC crowned champions in all six classes on Sunday and while this year didn't provide central locations where all finals could be seen in order, the home court advantage did provide for some passionate atmospheres. St. Thomas More School and Tokyo Samurai guard Taku Youngblood announced a verbal commitment to Northern Illinois and first year head coach Rashon Burno on Tuesday night.
