Cornell & Figueroa Make A Name For Themselves
Today’s Frosh/Soph five are here!
Eric Figueroa, North Middlesex - The 6’8 big man out of Northern Massachusetts was a pleasant surprise at the Elite 75. His mid-range touch looks like it will expand and his interior skills should continue to improve.
Jackson Perri, Roxbury Latin - One of the most polished players in the class of 2028, Perri makes his Elite 75 debut. His great decision-making, passing vision and scoring chops are just three assets in his game.
Jakare Innocent, St. Mark’s - The Taunton native’s second appearance in the Elite 75 was once again impressive. He commands the ball well with his handle to make a play and has upside at the lead guard spot.
Nicola Plalum, Cheverus - Portland Maine’s Plalum played a role on his varsity squad as a freshman, and has lots of potential moving forward. His defensive intangibles with quick feet and anticipation are great aspects of his game.
Elijah Cornell, Stonington - Cornell was one of the top stockrisers of the event, going from a somewhat unknown to making a name for himself. His positional versatility at 6’5” with shooting skills and fluidity definitely stand out.
