Middlesex Magic 17u Crotty won the 2019 Hoop Group Showcase League Championship this weekend, defeating Garner Road NC, Team Takeover Orange, DC Blue Devils and Crown in the title game. The HGSL began three years ago and the Magic have claimed every title. Each of the three major sneaker circuits held season culminating events last week during the live period. The Nike EYBL Finals took place at the Peach Jam in North Augusta, South Carolina while EYBL teams that didn’t qualify took part in the Peach Invitational Tournament in nearby Augusta, Georgia. Following a succesful college career at Florida Gulf Coast and Chaminade University, Christophe Varidel returned to his native Switzerland and decided to give back to the youth basketball system.  He's done so by founding the Stride Your Passion Exposure Tour.
