The 2013-2014 high school basketball season in the state of Vermont came to a close this weekend with the crowning of four different state champions. Choate Rosemary Hall post-graduate forward Cameron Neubauer made a verbal commitment to the University of San Diego last week. Neubauer is a six-foot-seven forward who came to Choate from his home country in Germany where he was a product of their junior national team. Brewster Academy took the 2014 National Prep Championship by defeating St. Thomas More School on Wednesday night at Albertus Magnus College by a score of 88-78. The Bobcats advanced to the finals with a 84-61 semifinal win over Northfield Mount Hermon earlier in the day while the Chancellors outlasted IMG Academy 93-86 in the other semifinal.
