The Connecticut College gym was full of college coaches and fans alike as the top post-graduate teams in the country battled it out on the first day of the National Prep Championship. Six NEPSAC champions were crowned on Sunday as Brewster Academy, Tilton School and Williston Northampton School captued the AAA, AA and A championships respectively at Endicott College. St. Johnsbury (VT) senior forward Josiah Kimball has made a verbal commitment to Nichols College, both he and head coach Tom O'Shea confirmed to the New England Recruiting Report.
Kimball is a powerful and potentially versatile forward who averaged 12 points and 5 rebounds per game this season for St. Johnsbury.
He joins Brendan O'Shea, who is currently in his post-graduate season at Hotchkiss, to become the second St. Johnsbury alum to commit in the class of 2015.

Four state champions were crowned in the state of Maine over the weekend with Hampden Academy taking the top prize by knocking off Portland 70-50 Saturday night at the Augusta Civic Center, scoring some retribution after falling to Portland in last year’s state final.
