Next up on our state by state list of rankings is Rhode Island. The Ocean state has a clear cut top ranked player in Michael Carter-Williams as the St. Andrew's guard has only seen his stock continue to rise after making an early commitment to Syracuse in his junior year. Next up on the list is MCW's St. Andrew's teammate Aboubacar Casse. The six-foot-five forward was new to the scene last year and still getting his barings, but we were very…

The top ranked returning player within Maine’s borders is Lee Academy center Keith Coleman. Beyond Coleman things become much less clear as spots two through eight are very close and certainly debatable. While we personally believe Tyler McFarland may be the most college ready player in the Maine state association, Alex Furness may…

Today the process of updating our 2011 rankings officially begins with the state of Vermont. Vermont Academy’s incoming post-grad Ryan Romich is the top overall prospect competing within the state’s borders. With a steady dose of division I recruitment Romich will be the go-to player for a Vermont Academy program that is obviously on the rise. But when it comes to the true Vermont natives Jake Donnelly is still in the top spot in our opinion. With a limiting number…

Because New England is the hub of prep school basketball in the United States there are always plenty of reclassifications that take place each year.
