Shooting Touch Pre-Season Tune-Up Returning

Shooting Touch will hold their annual Pre-Season Tune-Up this fall, but there will be a new twist as the program will feature the highest level of competition in their four year history.

"We are looking for 40 scholarship level basketball players in the Boston vicinity who are fully dedicated and want the best preseason training around," said Shooting Touch director Justin Kittredge.

Consequently, any interested player must be nominated by either his high school or AAU coach.

The Pre-Season Tune-Up program will take place on Wednesday nights and Saturday mornings beginning on October 13th and concluding on November 20th.  Each session will consist of one hour of basketball drills and another hour of strength and conditioning working and nutritional instruction.

Various high school coaches will rotate weekly so players will be receiving instruction from a variety of the most experienced and qualified coaches in the area.

The cost of the program is $350 for 10th, 11th, and 12th graders and $250 for 7th, 8th, and 9th graders who will only participate in one of the two weekly sessions.  Because Shooting Touch is sponsored by Reebok all players will receive a free pair of John Wall Zig sneakers.
