When Jon McAllian arrived in Orlando with his Team Maine AAU squad he was already receiving some division I interest. But after knocking down 7 three-pointers in the first half of Team Maine’s opening game of the tournament that interest quickly expanded. 153 teams from across the nation had their eyes on competing for a national championship. The MBR boys basketball team advanced to the sweet 16 bracket at the junior boys/17u AAU National Championship before losing a Virginia based team.
