Brooks School senior guard Jayde Dawson made a verbal commitment to UMass Lowell this weekend, and is now expected to sign his National Letter of Intent during the upcoming spring signing period. Duane Notice, a post-graduate guard from St. Thomas More School, made a verbal commitment to South Carolina head coach Frank Martin on Sunday night. Notice’s commitment comes little more than a week after he visited the South Carolina campus. BABC is holding their annual George “Trigger” Burke Tip-Off Tournament this weekend, which is always one of the openings events of the spring AAU season. Little more than a week after de-committing from Hofstra, Vermont Academy post-graduate swingman Rich Williams made a verbal commitment to Manhattan on Friday night. Williams’ initial verbal commitment to Hofstra came in late January. Because he hadn’t yet signed his National Letter of Intent, his commitment was not yet binding.
