UConn Adds Transfer
UConn head coach Kevin Ollie landed a commitment from George Washington transfer Lasan Kromah on Tuesday.
Kromah is a six-foot-five guard who will be immediately eligible for one season following his graduation from George Washington.
Rumors of Kromah's transfer to UConn had been widespread since May, but only became official on Tuesday. Current Connecticut assistant coach Karl Hobbs, was previously the head coach at George Washington, and initially recruited Kromah.
Kromah is a highly versatile perimeter player who averaged double figures in each of the last three seasons and should be able to offer minutes at all three perimeterpositions off the bench next season.
