2026 Brewster Profile

There’s a new look in Wolfeboro, New Hampshire at Brewster Academy. With the departure of longtime coach Jason Smith, Brewster brought in Luke Rosinski. Rosinski brings D1 Coaching experience from UNCG, as well as familiarity with the prep landscape, as he came over from Hargrave Military Academy. Brewster, a historic prep program that has pumped out many Division 1 and NBA talents over the years, look to continue success this upcoming season as they will be rejoining NEPSAC AAA.

The Returners

A very notable piece for this Brewster squad is it is brand new entirely. There are no returners from last year's team. Though there are no returning players, there is a lot of incoming talent to the program to be excited about this upcoming season.

The Newcomers

Coach Rosinski brought together a talented group for his first season as Head Coach of the program. The roster is composed of talent, not only from across the nation, but bringing in some international pieces as well.

Alex Pace is a post-graduate guard coming in from Camden High School where in his senior season would eclipse the 1,000 point mark. Pace is able to score the ball in bunches, attacking lanes in the defense and getting into pull-ups. He carried a fantastic senior year into the summer being a major part of a 17U UAA National Championship team with WeR1. Pace will be a key piece to this Brewster team as he looks to finalize his recruitment during the season.

Pop Anderson, had a very successful past season coming off both a state, and 3SSB championship. Anderson is a high level scorer who can get it done on all three levels, and plays the game with no fear. Pop is relentless on both ends, and holds multiple D1 offers going into this season. Besides the scoring prowess Pop can create for others, putting them in spots to score, he certainly will be one to watch entering his junior campaign.

Trey Edwards, a highly touted guard/wing from the south, is a weapon on the offensive end who gets it done at every level. Standing at 6’ 5” Edwards offers a deep skillset and creation making him a very difficult guard for opposing defenses. Going into his junior season, Edwards holds offers from major conferences across the nation. Trey has an amazing approach to the game, allowing him to play at the high level he does, and has earned a national reputation as a prospect already.

Maxx Tjongondjoza, has spent the last few summers playing for Great Britain’s U16 & U18 national teams in FIBA play. Tjongondjoza offers a lot of size and upside at the forward position going into his junior season. He’s a great athlete who can stretch the floor with shooting touch. He has all of the tools to be an excellent forward for the program this upcoming season.

Cannon Combs, a 6’10” sophomore center, brings some youth to this squad and is what you want in a modern big. A big-time prospect in the class of 2029, Combs can do a bit of everything on the offensive end. He shows soft touch around the rim, a shot from range, and is a great passer for his position. He will be an anchor down low and continue to grow this upcoming season.

Chris Rochester brings size and skill to Brewster at the forward position, and offers a high IQ game. Chris uses his body well and can get to his spots, but is a knockdown shooter from distance. He plays a physical game, and offers a wide skillset as he can put the ball on the floor and create for himself on a drive or for others.

From the North

Coen Wubs, a post-graduate guard, and Alex Francis, a sophomore wing, are making their way from Canada to join this squad. Coen, a high-energy player who has good feel, brings depth and a high motor to the backcourt. Francis, the 6’7” forward, offers great size for his position and potential, looking to continue the growth in his game this season.

The Guards

Wilson Youssef is a local product from Pinkerton, NH, coming off a season where he earned 1st Team All-State. Wilson can create shots off the dribble and is a capable athlete, showing he can play above the rim. Sebastian Harding, a quick, shifty guard from Brooklyn, can create shots for himself, but is also a great playmaker as he can set up his teammates very well. Thomas Summers, another New England face in this squad, is a shooter who plays hard with a higher IQ.

On the wing

James Minlend, a senior forward from NC, is a two-way threat. On the defensive end he is a very switchable defender, and offers a physical game, which could allow him to play a small ball 5. He spent his Summer with the Cameroon U18 National Team being named an All-Star of the Afrobasket tournament. Minlend is a great athlete who can score in multiple ways on the offensive end. Nicholas Satterfield, one of the three sophomores on the squad comes in from Dallas listed at 6’ 4”. Satterfield is a hustle player who gets involved all over. He is making the leap to the NEPSAC and will look to continue to grow his game this season.

Defining Characteristics

This new Brewster roster offers a lot of experience, containing a mix of primarily post-graduate players, and the remainder being juniors and sophomores. Having this level of experience will bode well, giving this squad a more than solid base. Joining a highly competitive NEPSAC AAA, this roster is built to compete at that level. Especially with great talent at every spot on the floor.
