Expressions Elite head coach Ty Boswell announced on Thursday night that both Abdul-Malik Abu and Jared Terrell had cut their list to 10 schools. Abu is down to St. John’s, UCLA, Providence, UConn, Iowa State, Miami, Kentucky, Kansas State, Florida, and N.C. The Maine Athletic Club, or MAC as they have come to be known, earned medals at the 11th grade AAU Silver Super Showcase by winning the silver bracket with a cumulative record of 6-1 on the week. Abdul-Malik Abu made a triumphant return to his Expressions Elite squad on Saturday night, after missing the better part of the first four days while starring at the Nike Global Challenge.
