STM Big Man Heading D2
St. Thomas More post-graduate Scott Toresco made a verbal commitment to Southern New Hampshire on Thursday, accepting a full athletic scholarship offer from the local division II school.
He announced his decision via his twitter account:
I'm going to school next year for free playing the game I love. #SNHUcommit

Toresco is a six-foot-seven big man who previously starred at Westfield High School and ran with the New Jersey Roadrunners on the AAU circuit.
He’s a bit of a throwback in that he’s a true low post presence who thrives while playing with his back to the basket on the offensive end.
Toresco will be the fifth STM product on next year’s Southern New Hampshire roster joining current junior Elijah Bonsignore, junior B.J. Cardarelli, sophomore Rodney Sanders, and freshman Chris Walters.
Toresco becomes the seventh member of this year’s Chancellors’ team to accept a full accept scholarship joining Cane Broome (Sacred Heart), Mike Wells (Albany), Josh Williams (Rider), Calvin Crawford (Manhattan), Eric Paschall (Fordham), and Francis Kiapway (Ball State).
Here is a look at some of Toresco’s highlights prior to arriving at St. Thomas More:
