Tony Gallo has signed a National Letter of Intent (NLI) to play next year at Coppin State University. The former Boston Herald and Globe All-Scholastic point guard from Lynn, MA, had an outstanding two year career at Cabrillo Junior College in Santa Cruz, California, scoring over 1,000 points as a two time All-Coast Conference South selection. Dennis Clifford landed a scholarship offer last week from newly appointed Boston College head coach Steve Donahue, according to Bay State Magic director and head coach Kalon Jenkins. Donahue, who was previously the head coach at Cornell before taking over at Boston College, hadn’t seen Clifford play against competition since last summer’s AAU Nationals but attended two of Milton Academy’s workouts during last month’s contact period. American International College earned a pair of commitments on Monday from two players who are plenty familiar with each other. Jordon Bronner, a combo-guard from Iona Prep in New York, signed his National Letter of Intent with New Hampshire as expected on Monday. Bronner was joined by DeAndray Buckley, who also signed on Monday. The second annual High School Academic All-American Game took place this weekend at the Felix Events Center in Azusa, California and once again featured many of the best student athletes that the national class of 2010 had to offer.
