Folahan Picks Wagner

Naofall Folahan quickly became a highly coveted prize in the last few weeks.  After decommitting from Marist, the Wilbraham & Monson center quickly became a priority for numerous division I programs still looking to add a center to their 2010 class.

From Seton Hall to Davidson to Tulane and numerous schools in between, Folahan ended up with a wealth of opportunities.

Ultimately, the decision came down to Wagner and Tulane with Folahan becoming the third player to commit to new Wagner head coach Danny Hurley on Monday.

While Folahan averaged 8 points and 7 rebounds this season for Wilbraham and Monson, it is his long term potential that made him such a widely coveted player.  Standing six-foot-eleven, he has incredibly athleticism and agility for a player his size, and although he is still just learning the game, he has an undeniable upside once he learns to put his tools to use.

Folahan joins Latif Rivers, a post-graudate guard from Avon Old Farms, as the second New England prep product, and more specifically Western New England Conference player, to commit to Wagner in the last two weeks.
