Fairfield University picked up their fifth commitment in the class of 2012 on Monday from Justin Jenkins, a six-foot-two guard from Wings Academy in New York. Phase III of the Playaz Spring Fling took place this weekend in Paterson, New Jersey. With the event tipping off on Thursday night and going continuously through the day on Saturday it didn’t necessarily mesh well with New England prep schools, most of whom had class over the weekend. Northfield Mount Hermon School’s post-graduate point guard Spike Albrecht made a verbal commitment to the University of Michigan on Friday night while on the Ann Arbor campus for his official visit.
