Chauncey Gilliam’s recruitment has been a long and windy road. It was almost 18 months ago that Gilliam thought the process was behind him when he committed to the University of Albany during his senior season at Leap Academy in New Jersey. In the latest chapter of their storied 30 year history, BABC won the prestigious King James Classic this weekend. Different players stepped up at various points throughout the weekend to lead the Boston based squad to this major championship.
