The University of Hartford scored their seventh, and reportedly final, commitment in the class of 2011 this week with six-foot-six forward Mark Nwakamma. Nwakamma comes from Leander Texas and is a product of the Texas D1 Ambassadors AAU program. He becomes the third product from the Lone Star state to commit to Hartford this year joining guards Wes Cole and Yolonzo Moor. A handful of New England products were among the 100 underclassmen invited to this weekend's Nike Elite 100. Previously known as the Nike Hoop Jamboree for the past 12 years, the Nike Elite 100 has been the nation's premier basketball event for elite underclassmen. St. Mark’s freshman Jarred Reuter traveled to Indiana University this past weekend for the Hoosier’s Elite Camp and left with his first high-major scholarship offer.
