Strong Get Stronger

On paper, Brewster Academy and South Kent were arguably the two most talented teams in class AAA of the NEPSAC this year.

Well if there was any doubt a week ago it has since become much less debatable now as both programs landed huge additions this weekend with the return of former stars.

At Brewster, Jakarr Sampson has returned to the academy.  Sampson graduated from Brewster last spring after spending his senior season in New Hampshire but was one of three incoming St. John's freshmen ruled ineligible last week by the NCAA eligibility center.

Sampson will team with Mitch McGary, T.J. Warren, Jaylen Reynolds, Semaj Christianson, and others to form a lethal line-up at Brewster this year.

South Kent is seeing the return of Ricardo Ledo according to multiple reports from this weekend.  Only two weeks removed from his commitment to Providence and decision not to return to Notre Dame Prep, Ledo will now return to South Kent, where he began his junior season.

Ledo will team with Laimonas Chatkevicius, Shawn Smith, Isaac Freeman, and Chris Thomas to add to an already potent South Kent squad.
