Even a massive power outage couldn’t keep the second day of the National Prep School Invitational from taking place, although it certainly did manage to delay it for a little while. Mid-way through the regular season and things have stayed relatively consistent atop the New England’s 2014 rankings. Every once in a while something happens in the basketball community that transcends prep school standings, AAU affiliations, or player rankings. Boston University head coach Joe Jones landed his second commitment in the class of 2013 on Monday, this one from St. Thomas More post-graduate Dylan Haines. South Kent School's post-graduate center Nolan Long has sacrificed a lot to pursue playing division I basketball and now he is closer than ever.
