Moute a Bidias Pac 12 Bound
Notre Dame Prep forward Roger Moute a Bidias will follow in his brother’s footsteps by heading to the state of California to play his college basketball in the Pac 12 Conference.
Roger Mbah a Moute led UCLA to the Final Four in each of his three college seasons before declaring for the NBA Draft. He recently completed his fifth season with the Milwaukee Bucks and is known as being a great rebounder and one of the best defensive players in the NBA.
Moute a Bidias began his high school career at Montverde Academy, the same school where his brother had previously starred before attending UCLA, but opted to transfer to Notre Dame Prep for his final season.
Like his brother, Moute a Bidias is also a high level athlete known for his ability to rebound the ball and potential to evolve into a lockdown defender.
That’s where the similarities end though as he’ll be attending the University of California, one of UCLA’s top rivals in the Pac 12.
Moute a Bidias is capable of playing either the three or four positions at the next level, and while he becomes the fifth player to commit to head coach Mike Montgomery for next season, he fills a clear void as the only forward in the class.
Moute a Bidias is also the second member of this year’s Notre Dame Prep squad to commit to a school in California, following in the footsteps of Baltimore native Aaron Parks, who pledged to Cal State Northridge.
