Putnam Science Academy post-graduate guard Dashon Gitten announced a verbal commitment to Florida International University on Friday.  The 6-foot-3 guard from Hartford, Connecticut began his career at Weaver High School before transferring to Woodstock Academy, where he received his degree last year.  He has played his grassroots basketball with NE6 for the last two years, including most recently in the UAA.  Gittens has a wealth of versatile tools and significant upside.
